Biography
Jaime joined Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam in 2010 as a Producer and worked her way to become Head of Production in 2022. Under the creative leadership of Mark Bernath and Eric Quennoy, work produced for clients here include global ad campaigns for Nike, Electronic Arts (EA Sports), Facebook, Heineken and Booking.com.
She and her teams have led multi-million dollar productions, often shooting globally with celebrity talents including Hollywood actors, musicians and professional athletes. These include integrated productions, working closely with the print, digital/ interactive and social teams.
Her work here has been shortlisted at the Cannes Lions and awarded at the European Epica Awards.
Experience
Her life in ad agencies began with the Ogilvy network in 2002 in Singapore, where she's originally from, producing TV commercials for both local and Asia-Pacific regional markets (41 territories) under the creative leadership of Khai Meng Tham. Working closely with the Regional Head of Broadcast, she also assisted in managing the TV department. In 2006, she was the sole recipient of the “Ogilvy Giant Award”, given in recognition of promising talent who will be a “Giant” one day. Other achievements here include winning awards at the Asia-Pacific AdFest, Singapore Creative Circle Awards and EFFIE Awards.
In 2007 till early 2009, she moved to the Ogilvy Cape Town office, producing TV commercials for the South African and regional African markets with clients such as Cadbury, SAB-Miller, Volkswagen, BP, Castrol and Coca-Cola, and also won awards at the South Africa Loerie Awards.
In 2009, Jaime spent a year in Sydney, Australia and worked with the Euro RSCG (now Havas) network. This included producing TV commercials for Euro RSCG Australia and The Furnace Sydney and Melbourne. Clients included Reckitt-Benckiser, Schering-Plough, Sydney Water and The Cancer Council.
Prior to working in ad agencies, Jaime produced TV commercials as a Production Company Producer with Gravity Films, Singapore, shooting spots for local clients as well as production facilitation for international commercials.
With her varied international experience, Jaime has worked with production, post and audio companies all over the world and has established a close relationship with many Directors, Producers, Post-Production Specialists, Music Composers and Sound Engineers in the industry.
Before Advertising
Before life in advertising, Jaime worked in broadcasting as Producer and TV Presenter of music video and lifestyle TV programs on “The Tube” for Singapore’s Mediacorp Channel 5. Highlights include on-camera interviews with Britney Spears, Ronan Keating, The Backstreet Boys, Orlando Bloom and Liv Tyler, amongst many other celebrities. A spin-off of the TV shows included a weekly radio show on 98.7FM.
Education
Jaime earned a BSc in Film (Cum Laude Honours) with Boston University, USA.
Other Interests
Jaime is also a wellness coach, trained in nutritional therapy, yoga and meditation.
She uses her wellness trainings to help overworked high achievers in the creative industries manage stress through nutrition, movement and lifestyle rituals. Her wellness work can be found at Enlightened Spoon.
